The workbench

AI-Lab.

This is where I tinker. Two of these apps were built in a single afternoon โ€” because the biggest constraint now is the clarity of the idea, not the mechanics of implementation. One of them, Splitter, has since evolved into the engine behind VocalGuru. Read the full story on LinkedIn.

๐Ÿงณ Travel Organizer

One place for a whole trip โ€” photos, a trip summary, day-by-day details, budget tracking, and the highlights worth remembering. Built because our family trips were scattered across camera rolls, spreadsheets, and group chats.

The fun engineering problem: letting AI draft the trip summary and pick highlight photos automatically, so the organizing takes minutes instead of a weekend.

๐Ÿฅ— What's on My Plate

A personal nutrition and meal tracking tool โ€” built in an afternoon to solve a problem I kept wishing someone else would build.

๐ŸŽต STEM Splitter

Audio stem separation tool โ€” isolate vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments from any track. AI-powered source separation running on local hardware.

Splitter has since evolved into the engine behind VocalGuru โ€” the best side projects seem to do that.

๐ŸŽค VocalGuru

Compare your own singing against the original recording and track improvement over time. Both takes run through Splitter to isolate the vocals, then get analyzed for pitch accuracy, melodic contour, and consistency using librosa, Praat, and FFmpeg.

AI Prompt Tools

Try them live.

Small, practical tools that run via Claude โ€” use them live on nuvam.ai, or download the standalone HTML to run in your own claude.ai session.

All three run live at nuvam.ai/ai-lab โ€” fill in the fields and hit go.

Compare Notes

Building something similar? Let's talk.

I love trading notes with other builders โ€” especially on agentic AI in regulated environments, where the hard problems hide.
